The Story

I met Paige on the last stop of her long journey towards finding the one. She had been to five other shops and was getting discouraged. But after chatting, I knew that we were going to hit it.

 

I had lots of options pulled for her before she arrived, but there was one dress in particular that I had a feeling was it. All it took was a little change to the neckline, and sure enough, she was struck by FIRST DRESS MAGIC. And the tears. started. flowing.

 

Since Paige lives out of state, we shipped the dress to her once it came in. Getting back to pick up in person was proving too complicated to schedule. TBH this always makes me nervous. But when I checked in to make sure she arrived ok, by golly, she couldn’t have fit better right out of the box. 

 

I patiently waited for photos and DANG it was a treat to see that beautiful smile grace our IG feed 6 months later. Paige was so kind to be sure her photographer tagged us in EVERYTHING! That always means more than we can say. Even though I haven’t seen Paige since she said YES, she still remains one of our most ardent supporters and engaged brides. For that, she is one of a select few whose photo decorates our Granville shop walls. You just may have been blessed by some good Paige vibes, if you’ve visited us this year. We sure are grateful to call her ours.

“I had the best experience with Tanya at Gilded Social! Her shop was the last stop during my trip to Columbus and the fifth bridal salon I’d been to since starting the dress search. After discussing via phone what I had liked/not liked about dresses at other places, she pulled a selection for me to try on upon arrival. The first dress was perfect! Just when I’d given up on the thought of having “the moment”, the tears came and I knew it was the one. (See photo 2 for the tears). Tanya helped me work with the designer in NYC to customize the neckline. I loved everything about how the dress turned out and cannot recommend Gilded Social enough!!”
