I love a gal with vision. When a bride can still picture herself in a dress that she doesn’t quite get to try on exactly, the possibilities become endless.

Natalie was looking for a fit-and-flare dress with a plunging neckline, and long sleeves - something that felt winter-y. Sleeves were just starting to trend, so we didn’t have a lot  in the shop yet. BUT there was this one absolutely beautiful topper that had JUST come out at market a few months earlier that I was hoping she’d consider as a sleeve option.

I couldn’t get the topper into the store for her appointment, so I had to get creative to get her to see it. God bless, Natalie. Sure enough, she envisioned that BRAND new topper using just a loaner gown I had gotten in in the same fabric. She found the favorite dress silhouette, picked the loaner dress up to her bodice, fell in love with the gorgeous laser cut applique, and finished the look with a crepe belt. It couldn’t have been more perfect for her Asheville mountain wedding.

I am so grateful to Natalie for pushing me to get creative to help her find her dream dress. She gave me the confidence to really step outside the box to help her get to YES! A skill I use now daily, of course. For that, she has a permanent spot on the Gilded wall of fame.
