The Story

From our first call, I knew Madison was going to be an Anne Barge bride. Everything she wanted pointed towards that classic and timeless charm. Wouldn’t ya know it, we were hosting a trunk show right around the time of her visit - like it was meant to be!

Meant to be it was. Madison was struck by FIRST DRESS MAGIC when she tried on Alessandria. Ha. I knew this was going to be her dress before she even walked through the door. We tried on a few more, but none of them compared to the ONE.

After a family friend altered her gown, Madison brought her back for a tutorial on the bow. We put in a few extra snaps so she’d stay in place without any hassle. After all, why invest all that time, money, and effort into your dream dress if she doesn’t look right all day and night?! The logistics of wearing your dress are ALWAYS just as important to us as buying your dress with us.

Speaking of logistics, I kept the gown after her bow tutorial to perfectly steam and prep for the big day. Then, I delivered it to her hotel the day before her wedding. Seeing the smiling faces of her and her family when I brought the dress inside was such a thrill. I just couldn’t have been more honored to be part of their celebration from YES to I DO.

“I cannot say enough great things about Gilded Social and Tanya!!! From the minute I had my first phone call with Tanya, I knew I was going to find my dream dress at Gilded Social. She was incredibly knowledgeable about all things wedding dresses (and really all things wedding in general) and really listened to what I was looking for, down to the very last detail. After I got off the phone with her and set up an appointment, I could not wait to try on her dresses!! As she would say, it was “first dress magic” for me as the very first dress she pulled was the one I went with. It was the most stunning dress and it was so ME! She made the try on and ordering process so smooth and easy. And my favorite part - she professionally steamed my dress the day before the wedding and then dropped my dress off at our hotel. This was so reassuring for me and my family knowing that we wouldn’t have to worry about how my dress would get from point A to point B or have to worry about it being wrinkly- Tanya took care of it all! She also has an in house seamstress which makes alterations super easy. Could not recommend Tanya and her shop more!!! They are absolutely wonderful!”
