Haley Morrow Patel

I was a little nervous when Haley arrived for her appointment.  Let’s just say that as soon as she walked in the door, a few tears of wedding planning overwhelm started flowing that I was determined to quickly calm away.

But Haley had sent me a great wishlist, so pre-pulling for her was easy! So easy that we nailed it with a little SECOND DRESS MAGIC. A few perfect customizations to prep for her on-the-beach wedding, and now we were shedding tears of joy! 

Prepping Haley’s fashion for her destination wedding was SO fun. From a custom veil to surprise her Indian husband-to-be to turning a teeny tiny maternity gown into the perfect MOH dress for her daughter to finding a cheap-o sample sale dress that looked just like her main gown for her Caribbean Sea trash the dress photos (omg I just couldn’t let that Kelly Faetanini into the salt water) to packing it all up for the flight down  we really got to use all our tools and experience to make her experience easy peasy and just what she wanted.

However, the most special moment of it ALL was hearing that BOTH of their families would be able to make the trip to Turks for the wedding after all. We weren’t sure throughout the planning if everyone would make it, so seeing that smile on her face when she told us the news was worth more than all those fashion feats combined. 

Being a small part of her very special family celebration was such an honor. Becoming friends and staying in touch with Haley even to this day, though, is truly why I LOVE what I do. No 41 year old gal gets to make more new friends than I do.
