The Story

Oh Christina, the definition of Ultimate Gilded Bride. There has been no bride I’ve worked with who loved being a bride as much as Christina! Christina visited us on recommendation from one of our very favorite planners, Thyme & Details. She was looking for something specific, and I was just thrilled that this style was coming to my shop soon. And by soon, I mean it arrived the DAY of her appointment and ONLY because I tracked down the UPS truck in downtown Columbus after we missed the delivery earlier in the day.

But it was worth it, because sure enough - Alba was it. Went perfectly with the cape she’d been dreaming of, too. She brought her crew back a couple days later to pop confetti, but that was just the beginning for Christina. Christina styled so many parts of her wedding wardrobe with us. She got little white dresses and an amazing hairpiece, the coolest jacket for her bachelorette party, and used nearly every one of our services we offer.

One of the sweetest parts of being one of her vendors was being invited to a lunch she hosted before her wedding, just so she could hang with her team before the wedding. I could tell she had a special relationship with each of us, and how amazing is it that she wanted us all to feel that together with her, too?! Becoming friends with brides is the number one thing I enjoy most about this business, so I couldn’t be more grateful for how Christina made me feel that day and always.

We have since seen Christina for A Gilded Dinner Party and many alterations appointments, even after she moved out of town. To say that Christina is one of our most memorable brides would be the understatement of a century. She made an indelible mark on our business and for that we couldn’t be more grateful. What a thrill and an honor to be part of something that meant so much to her for so long. Love you long time C.

“Since my first phone call with Tanya scheduling my appointment to try on wedding dresses, I knew that my wedding gown experience in Gilded Social would be different than anywhere else. Tanya spoke to me for a long time explaining how the wedding dress process worked. The whole interaction reminded me of a time long lost when clothing vendors used to care for your personal needs and were willing to be flexible and tailor the experience to the customer’s wishes. Above all else, Tanya inspired trust. On my appointment day, Tanya had all dresses I wanted to try-on ready; she even ran after a UPS track to make sure that one of the dresses I wanted to try (which ended up being THE ONE!!!) was delivered on time! She also helped me pick my amazing hairpiece, the most sparkling bachelorette-party jacket EVER, as well as little white dresses for the rehearsal dinner and days leading up to the wedding. On my wedding day, she steamed my dress onsite and made sure no wrinkles were present for my big walking-down-the-aisle moment! Throughout the wedding preparation process, Tanya was present, flexible, responsive and trustworthy. I never had to worry about anything relating to my wedding dress. In a modern era of speed and quick purchases, Tanya stands out by providing a personalized experience and connecting with her customers! I highly and strongly recommend her!
