Bridget’s visit to our shop was full of all kinds of serendipity. She came to us via a referral from one of Gilded Social’s most special brides. She was in town from California visiting her soon to be in-laws and thought it would be fun to shop all together. She’d been to a number of shops in California so far and nothing was coming together yet, so she thought she’d give Ohio a try!
Well, given that Molly recommended us, I was determined to make it happen for Bridget. As I was pulling her try on collection - a boho, musical festival-ish inspired look - I realized I had a brand new with tags consignment gown that I had JUST put on the rack that could actually be perfect. It had everything she asked for! All we needed to do was make sure that it fit.
Well, lo and behold, it did, and it couldn’t have been more meant to be! That day, we made TWO brides happy - Bridget AND the bride who consigned the dress with us. (I loved making Molly look good, too.) We even found a perfect off-the-rack veil to complete the look.
Bridget left knowing that she had finally found her dress AND didn’t need to wait for months for it to come in. We shipped it back to California for her so the rest of her trip could be totally stress-free. Gosh, I just love when it all comes together like that. Makes my job easy peasy.
