When I first chatted with Alana, she had such a clear vision for her wedding gown: clean, modern, architectural, asymmetrical. There was this one organza gown that she was just over the moon for but it was more than she wanted to spend. That said, her crystal clear inspiration gave me the most amazing idea...

 

Though Blue Willow was not quite on her radar yet, I had a Blue Willow Trunk Show scheduled two weeks after she was planning to visit us. There was this ONE dress that I just KNEW was going to be all the things for Alana. It was asymmetrical. It had beautiful architectural pleating on the bodice. It was clean, classic, and - you guessed it - organza! I suggested we wait until the show to book so I knew I would have this dress for her to try on. It was so new - it hadn’t even hit retailers yet!

 

Turns out that was a pretty good suggestion if I don’t say so myself. It couldn’t have been more perfect. I just love a bride with vision. Makes my job a piece of cake.

It was such a relief to have Tanya and Mary Ellen as industry experts guiding me through the entire process. The secondary shop in Gahanna was great to have available to keep alteration appointments close to home.

 

Tanya and Mary Ellen were both always on top of all things related to my dress and my big day  and I never had to worry about managing these vendors.
