The Story

Allison found us after she’d been to nearly every shop in town. She found a dress online by Anne Barge, that she knew was the ONE after her long and tiring journey shopping elsewhere. 

 

Foster wasn’t a dress that we carry regularly, so we got it in on loan for her try on. Sure enough, it was everything she expected it to be, so we booked a follow up appointment for her to come back with Mom to say YES!

 

Then she had to move her appointment by a month. We coordinated to hang onto Foster for her, but in that time, she had the urge to go to one more shop. When she came back to try on Foster, she felt she was missing the V neckline from this other 11th hour dress she’d found. But we had an easy fix! We suggested she customize the neckline to be like the other dress and BAM! She had finally found her dress.

 

Whew! Sometimes it’s a real slog. But Allison needed every step along the way to find her dream bridal gown. We’re just over the moon that when she landed, she became a #GildedBride!

I started searching the web for specific dresses and designers. I was looking for Foster by Anne Barge, and Tanya was able to order a loaner gown for me directly from the designer! She was even able to hold it for an extra month, after I was unexpectedly unable to make my appointment. I ended up altering the neckline of the gown, and Tanya patiently walked me through that process as well. Gilded Social was even able to help with alterations, steaming, and gown preservation! Tanya's attention to detail and level of service is absolutely unmatched!”
